Making Connections: Exploring Open Educational Resources and Open Educational Practice in Wales (Carmarthen)

Aims and Key Takeaways

This workshop is a practical session to explore the ways of embedding Open Educational Practice (OEP) across the education sectors in Wales. It is aimed at anyone working within HE, FE or Schools who has an interest in Open Educational Resources and Practice and wishes to find out more about the benefits that an OEP collaborative network can bring.

All are very welcome. The workshop will consider some of the barriers that can be faced in adopting Open Educational Resources and will share good practice in terms of how the barriers can be overcome.

The workshop is free to attend and lunch will be provided.

The event should be of interest to a wide variety of staff including academics, librarians , instructional designers and learning resource developers who are interested in sharing ideas, thoughts and practice.

Colleagues interested in becoming an OER Wales Champion will be given access to a collaborative online tool aimed at facilitating the network and have the opportunity to become involved with shaping the format of the group and future workshop events.
